Privacy Policy
This policy explains the types of information that may be processed when you visit JIOPDF and use its online tools. The exact data flow can vary by tool and by services enabled on the live website.
Contact form submissions
When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, topic, and message you provide are transmitted to FormSubmit, our third-party form delivery provider, so the message can be forwarded to support@jiopdf.com. Please do not submit passwords, payment information, or other sensitive personal information through the contact form. FormSubmit may process and retain submission data under its own service terms and privacy practices.
Information you provide
Depending on the tool, you may select a PDF or image, enter text, provide a URL, or enter other information needed to complete a task. Avoid submitting passwords, financial records, identity documents or other sensitive information unless you have checked how the specific tool processes it and are comfortable proceeding.
How files and tool inputs are processed
Many JIOPDF tools are designed to process selected files in your browser. This does not mean every feature is completely offline. Some tools may load JavaScript libraries, fonts, language files, AI models or other resources from third-party providers. Certain features may send the input you provide to an external service to generate a result. For example, the QR Code Generator may send the text or URL entered into it to its QR-generation provider.
Check the instructions and notices on the individual tool page before using it. Do not assume that every file or input stays only on your device.
Hosting and technical information
When you visit a website, its hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include your IP address, requested page or resource, request time, browser or device information, and error or security logs. The exact information retained and the retention period depend on the hosting provider and the configuration used by the site owner.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies or similar technologies may be used for essential site functions, security, analytics or advertising if those services are enabled on the live website. Third-party analytics or advertising providers may collect information about visits and interactions in accordance with their own policies. The site owner should keep this policy aligned with the services actually enabled and provide any consent choices required by applicable law.
Third-party services
Some tools depend on external libraries, content-delivery networks, AI or OCR models, or other service providers. Those providers may receive technical information and, where a tool sends data to them, the relevant input needed to provide the feature. Their own privacy policies and terms may also apply. JIOPDF does not control the independent practices of third-party providers.
Data retention and security
Retention and security practices can differ between the browser, hosting provider and third-party services. JIOPDF does not promise that every feature uses the same processing method or retention period. Do not upload information that you cannot risk exposing. Keep your own copy of original files and review each tool's processing notice.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to use a tool, avoid entering sensitive information, and adjust available browser or consent settings. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@jiopdf.com or use our Contact page.
Children's privacy
JIOPDF's general-purpose tools are not designed to encourage children to submit personal or sensitive information. A parent or guardian who has a privacy concern may contact us using the details above.
